Description
PolyMax PLA vs. Regular PLA
One of the largest disadvantages of PLA is its poor mechanical properties compared to ABS. PLA is a brittle material which can fracture. Because of this PLA is a poor choice for functional parts used in mechanically demanding situations.
PolyMax™ PLA solves this problem. This new material exhibits over 8-9 times better impact strength and toughness than regular PLA.
Features
- Extremely Tough: Regular PLA is a brittle material, PolyMax PLA was designed to change this. A material that can withstand mechanically demanding tasks, it features an increased impact strength of up to 9 times that of regular PLA and 20% better than ABS.
- Uncompromised Quality PolyMax PLA is produced with Jam-Free™ technology. Easy the easy of printing in PLA whilst getting high quality strength prints regular PLA can’t provide.
- ABS? No More With PolyMax™ PLA you no longer need to chance a potential health risk with ABS. PolyMax™ PLA achieves the same structural strength as ABS prints whilst having better printer compatibility, easier printing, less warping and no hazardous odours.
